Professor of Industrial Engineering and Industrial Management

Engineering Professor Dr. Ramachandran RadharamananDr. Ramachandran Radharamanan joined Mercer University in 1998 and currently serves as Professor of Industrial Engineering and Industrial Management. He has teaching, research, and consulting experiences in the USA, Brazil, Belgium, and India. His previous administrative experiences include: President, International Society for Productivity Enhancement; Acting Director of Industrial Engineering/Director of Advanced Manufacturing Center, Marquette University; Research Director, CAM and Robotics Center, San Diego State University.

His primary research and teaching interests are manufacturing systems, rapid prototyping, robotics and automation, quality engineering, and innovation and entrepreneurship. He has organized/chaired five international conferences, co-chaired two, and organized/chaired three regional conferences. He has received two teaching awards, several research/service awards in the United States and in Brazil. His past/present professional affiliations: ASEE, IIE, ASQ, SME, ASME, and ISPE.
