Offering More than just Engineering ...
The School of Engineering’s unique learning environment includes two undergraduate programs that allow students to explore engineering concepts in business and management contexts. Technical Communication and Industrial Management, both Bachelor of Science programs, offer students opportunities to take general engineering courses alongside courses focusing on various business disciplines, communication skills, and psychology. Both programs emphasize the real-world application of skills, making graduates extremely marketable within the workforce. These programs are ideal for students who may have a general interest in engineering or who wish to develop a wide variety of skills to maximize value to potential employers. Industrial Management Technical Communication Graduates of the program enter a variety of fields including graphic design, web design, multimedia, instructional design, technical editing, technical writing, and usability.
