About the Program The Bachelor of Science in Industrial Management program at Mercer University is a mutual effort between the School of Engineering, Stetson School of Business and Economics, and College of Liberal Arts leading to a Bachelor of Science degree. The program consists of such traditional business courses as accounting, economics, finance, law, management, and marketing. Additionally, the program consists of many of the same core courses taken by Mercer’s engineering majors. Students in the program also take a number of psychology courses to further round out their knowledge of industrial management. Elective courses taken by students in the program allow them to explore selected industrial management topics in depth along with topics in global awareness, humanities, and social science. Taken as a whole, this combination of courses uniquely prepares our graduates for challenging positions in any of the manufacturing and service industries. Employers are attracted to generalists who can add value to their bottom line in multiple ways. |
