advising information

An instructor from the Mercer University School of Engineering will serve as academic advisor for entering freshman industrial management students. Each student is then assigned an academic advisor from within the Mechanical and Industrial Engineering Department at the beginning of the sophomore year. Students receiving a minor from the College of Liberal Arts or Stetson School of Business and Economics will also be assigned advisors appropriate for their minor. Transfer students are generally assigned an advisor during their first semester at Mercer. Students meet with their academic advisor at least once each semester. The Mercer University Bulletin contains official curricular, course, and graduation information. Students and their advisor(s) work closely to assure steady progress toward successful degree completion.
