Project experience

Central to the Technical Communication Department's teaching philosophy is the application of communicative lessons to real-world projects. Classes partner with real-world organizations to provide technical communication services, ranging from technical editing to web design to usability studies.

Examples of projects students/ classes have completed include:

  • Usability study: Mentor Graphics PADS Suite Software
  • Usability study: Palm use for medical education
  • Training, integrated information systems
