About the Graduate Program
Mercer’s M.S.E. in Mechanical Engineering program provides qualified students the opportunity to pursue advanced study in these 3 areas:
- Mechanics
- Thermal sciences
- Materials
Solutions to problems in each of these areas and to more complex problems involving all of these areas require intensive application of mathematics and computational tools.
Program Requirements
Our M.S.E. in Mechanical Engineering program requires a total of 30 semester credit hours of graduate coursework. The program can be arranged with either a thesis option or an all coursework option.
- Mechanical Engineering core: 18 hours
- Additional Engineering or Engineering Management courses: 12 hours
