As the non-profit research and applied engineering arm of the University, the Mercer Engineering Research Center (MERC) provides sustainable research solutions to government agencies, the Department of Defense, commercial entities, and more.

Robins Air Force Base

Just a 20-minute drive from campus, Robins Air Force Base is a major partner of Mercer University, most recently opening a software development center in downtown Macon, which will create a pipeline between the 402nd Software Engineering Group at Warner Robins Air Logistics Complex and the computer engineering and computer science departments at Mercer.
