Undergraduate Research

Make an Impact

At Mercer, our students often begin conducting research their first year on campus. It starts in the lab, but it doesn't stop there. Our research is moved by a desire to help and an impulse to act, which is why the results are far more than feats of engineering—they are deeply felt all over the globe.

Distinctive Programs

Enhance Your Education

Engineering Honors Program

The Engineering Honors Program offers exceptional students advanced learning opportunities that present challenges beyond the normal requirements for an undergraduate degree in the School of Engineering. Students are invited to apply by invitation.

4+1 Integrated Degree Program

Available to current Mercer engineers, the 4+1 Integrated Degree Program allows students to choose their master’s specialization in their junior year and receive a 50% graduate tuition benefit during their fifth year of study to earn their bachelor’s and master’s degrees more quickly and affordably.
