Graduate Certificate in Technical Communication Management

Advance Your Career

Mercer University’s Graduate Certificate in Technical Communication Management (GCTCM) provides practicing professionals with a unique experience focused on the managerial role of the technical communicator. Distinguishing the program from other technical communication graduate programs, this focus provides students with the skills and knowledge to advance their careers while adding value to current employers.

Earn your Graduate Certificate in Technical Communication Management (GCTCM) in 1-2 years. Apply using the graduate program application and simply state whether you wish to pursue the GCTCM or the Master of Science in Technical Communication Management (MSTCM).

Please note students who are admitted to the GCTCM are not eligible for financial aid. However, at any point, GCTCM students with a 3.2 GPA or higher may petition to move to the MSTCM degree. Students who have declared the MSTCM cannot petition to move to the GCTCM.

Certificate Requirements

The certificate requires a total of 15 semester hours, or 5 courses selected from among the same classes as MSTCM students. However, they may not count electives outside of the TCM program or the capstone research course, TCO 685, toward the certificate.
